On behalf of the Australian Association of Consultant Physicians hearty congratulations to Professor William (Bill) Heddle AM from South Australia, who was recognised in the Australia Day 2022 Honours as a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to cardiology, to tertiary education and to professional associations.

Professor Heddle is a current member of the AACP Council.
