Reasons to Join

Strong Advocacy

The AACP is regularly invited to provide input and advice to government inquiries, reviews and changes to the health system relating to consultant physicians and paediatricians. The AACP’s broad agenda focuses on quality health care for your patients, and ensuring Medicare items best reflect the services you provide.

Proven Success

The AACP is committed to ensuring Medicare items best reflect the Medicare services you provide. Through the AACP’s successful negotiations with the Australian Government you have two attendance items, MBS items 132 and 133, for use by all consultant physicians and paediatricians.
